1. Thanks Joe, I like your taste!
Especially Robin Trower. I would have liked to see him get a lot more exposure than he did. Deep Purple and Ritchie Blackmore have always been among my favorites. By the way, do you remember Montrose? Here's a clip featuring Sammy:

3. Thanks. I'm a longtime Trower fan, and also a longtime fan of
the red rocker. Just like when I thought it was beneath Joe Walsh to join the Eagles, I thought the same thing when Sammy joined Van Halen. I had already seen the Montrose video, but thanks. It's a great video. Last time I saw Sammy live was his Standing Hampton tour, over 20 years ago. He was like a house afire, all over the stage, climbing on stacks of amps, down in the audience, smoking joints with the fans, he was crazy. Still one of the best concerts I've seen.

4. So cool. I remember seeing this same performance on a Hendrix
documentary many many years ago. With Jimi, it would have been hard being a record company executive, because everything he did was a masterpiece and you would have had a hell of a time deciding just what to put on an album.
