It's official - I really really really hate my long hair

I've never had hair that has been any longer than around my shoulders but this winter I opted to grow my hair long, probably the longest it's ever been.

I hate it!

My hair is such limp, fine hair that if I don't take the 45min in the morning to blow it dry then my hair looks like shit. Ponytails are my friend at work. Plus our company initiated this new energy policy where the tempture of the building has been raised to 74-76 - which means I've now got this long sweaty hair that looks stringy running down my back.

Lunchtime - I'm chopping off at least 5 inches. I don't want a boy cut but just something around my chin

1. I'm the exact opposite.

I've never had hair shorter than halfway down my back. I've considered getting a short haircut at times, but I'm too afraid to actually do it. If I hate it, it'll take forever to grow back. :(

2. I hear ya

I usually don't cut mine until it drives me nuts (I just hate making the time to go to the hair stylist), and right now, I'm going insane.

However, my hair is not straight. I have lots of natural curl that goes bonkers when humidity hits.

I thought this year instead of fighting it, I would let it grow an then when the humid weather comes, I can just pull it back.

3. lol-- I haven't cut my hair in MANY MANY years....

I too always tie it into a ponytail. My beard is more of an annoyance, really, so I take the weed whacker to it every coupla months or so.
