It's only 8 a.m., and I'm already traumatized!
I was just lying on my bed, minding my own business, sacked out in my undergarments while I contemplated what to wear today.

My little kids were playing in JackMN's room, and NoelMN walked to school for the first time, so I didn't have to get up early to haul him there; I was enjoying a nice, leisurely wake-up.

I felt something like a strand of hair blow across my belly, so I glanced down, and
THERE WAS A BIG FREAKING FAT BLACK SPIDER CRAWLING UP MY STOMACH.

Honestly, I'm not phobic of all bugs, but for whatever innate reason, I am terrified of spiders. I'm sure I'm not alone in this.

Being the emotionally restrained individual that I am, I immediately sprung up, flailing, screaming, and ripping at my stomach, which caused me to fall off the bed.

I don't know where the spider is, and I refuse to go in my bedroom.

:P

2. Ok, and if you would like to come over and remove a spider from
the premises, it would be much appreciated.
You don't have to kill it; if you're an arachnid sympathizer, you can take it out and release it. I just want it out of my room.
I need some pants.

7. I have a question about bugs in the house.
When you can't kill and/or release them, and then you can't find them, where do you think they go?

13. I've woken with something walking on my belly, too.
But it's always just a cat, never a spider.

15. I started yesterday morning by opening the door to go feed a cat.
He is a stray, but mostly ours. He shows up at the door every morning and puts his paws up on the door to let me know it's time to be fed. Yesterday, he was pawing at the base of the door, so I opened it.

A mouse jumped into the house. The cat had been playing with it just outside the door, and the poor damned mouse was trying to run for its life.

Lucky mouse. The stray cat won't cross my doorway - he fears being inside.

Me? I wasn't so lucky. I had to round up the damned mouse. While high stepping and screaming like an idiot.

16. Lol! Mice don't bother me so much.
Just things with more than several legs.
Particularly if they are on me.
And parasitic creatures (ticks, leeches, etc.)

17. the itsy-bitsy spider
crawled up the woman's belly
she fell off the bed
and knocked the spider off
on went the day
till it's time to goto bed
and the itsy-bitsy spider
crawled up her leg again

I am sure a funny parody will help.

I'm not scared of spiders,
but I wouldn't want one on me
and wouldn't wanna goto bed until it was found
