Seeing the sites in Small Town, U.S.A
In Tipton, Indiana located on State Route 28 in the central part of the state there is a muffler repair shop called Tuff Muff. They also work on brakes and shocks.

In Sulpher Springs, Indiana located on U.S. Route 36 in the east central part of the state there is an automobile repair shop called Poor Boy Enterprises. At least I think it's an automobile repair shop. It looks like one, there just aren't any cars out there on the lot that need to be worked on. He must not be joking about Poor Boy.

Mount Summit, Indiana is also located on U.S Route 36 in the east central part of the state, but there are no mountains there. In fact, the little town is just a drop of humanity in the middle of a sea of corn fields.

Just outside of Gettysburg, Ohio located on U.S. Route 36 in the west central part of the state is an old, abandoned, used car dealership that was called Reck's Used Cars. The sign is still up.

Those are a few of the little towns I go through on my route every night delivering auto parts. About 2/3 of the route involves running on two lane roads. I actually wouldn't mind living out there around Gettysburg. There's a little speck of a town called New Harrison around there. I drove through there today and counted the buildings. 17 houses and one business. There is a house for sale in New Harrison. It's an old two story located on an acre of land. The price is good; property taxes are low; and the utilities would be cheap. It uses a propane system to heat the place and it has a well and a septic system. No central air of course. It's been up for sale for a year. I could probably get it for a song. Not too far from work, either. About 15 miles. Hmmmmm....
