Okay, the stay-at-home mom gig is pretty cool. The homeschooling stuff is really neat. The part-time minister affiliated with a Unitarian Universalist church is challenging and fun. But I also have a wedding officiating business on the side. It is a riot!

I had three weddings in the past four days and I have three more next weekend. I can't believe I get paid to witness one of the happiest days in people's lives. And oh, the funny things that happen. I've yet to have a nightmare wedding but I've had plenty of absolutely hilarious ones. I'd write a book, but let's be honest. It's kind of like ooing and ahing over other people's kids. No one's really interested in hearing about anyone else's wedding.

A few words of advise to those who are getting married publicly though...spit out the gum! ;)
