Duran Duran
I actually did like this band way back then in the 80's. Still do. A guilty indulgent pleasure I guess. What did you think of them?

Q

Bonus! My fave song by Duran Duran! The Reflex!

2. When I think Duran Duran, I think BNL's "If I Had a MIllion Dollars."
What does that say about me?

3. I thought they were great!
"Save a Prayer" was my favorite song but I had them all. Now my almost fourteen-yr-old son has rediscovered them, and some of their newer stuff so I'm hearing it around the house again.

7. Hi, Q! Early Duran Duran is some of my favorite music.
:bounce: :toast: Later stuff didn't thrill me much, but their early music I love! Their first album is a staple in my collection.

8. 'A View to a Kill'.
Quite the bizarre movie, but that song title made by Duran Duran is utterly terrific. (the visuals of the movie's opening credits, done by Maurice Binder, as usual are up to high creative standard...)

The group was rather a good one...

17. Just listened to it again on youtube
Just not a fan of the eighties, I guess. It's kinda like a synth-techno Goldfinger.

But I can't deny that it remains the only James Bond theme to reach #1 on Billboard.

14. I like them
I don't feel guilty about it, either. I feel guilty about very few musical items (Stella Soleil, a few Britney songs, The Click Five, and some of the songs on Hilary Duff's Dignity are a few.)

15. I love Duran Duran
I saw them in concert about six years ago here in vegas. It wasn't the full entire line up but as long as Simon was still there it was all good for me.

16. My wife was a Huge Fan
even got one or two albums that were only released in the UK (or Europe, I'm not sure)

She dragged me to see them - I think it was two years ago now - I was never a fan but I recognize they had talent - but now...oh boy they should not have gotten up on that stage that night

19. I've always been a Duran Duran fan...
...I was listenening to them just the other day in my car. I think their best album, top to bottom, would
have to be Notorious- it's just such a polished work. Here's how much of a fan I am, "Election Day" by
Arcadia is in my "running" playlist on my MP3 Player! That's a serious fan!

20. Well, I try not to
Just not the kind of music I ever cared for. And I definitely thought the look was bad. It's things like that that make me glad I married and had kids young because otherwise I probably would have been out in public with big hair and silly clothes on!

21. They saved my life
I was going through a particularly painful breakup about the time "Ordinary World" came out. That song saved my life. No joke.
