"No fun, my babe, no fun."
"No fun to hang around, feeling that same old way,
no fun to hang around, freaked out for another day."

My ringtone is cooler than your ringtone. :)

3. You have the old-timey ringer?
Like from days of yore when phones had real bells instead of fey electronic yodels?

I have that one too. :D

4. Isn't it cool?
I used to have this thing on my old computer -- and when I typed in Word, it sounded like a typewriter.

I miss some of the old sounds.

No...I take that back -- I miss most of the old sounds. Things have gotten too electronic. Too many beeps and trills and whistles and stuff.

5. It freaks people out.
People old enough to remember the old ringers have a recovering-amnesiac moment when they hear it, people not old enough are baffled. It's one of my favorite things in the world.

That Word thing would have driven me bonkers, though. I have to have sound turned off when I use MS software. Thankfully I mostly use Adobe stuff, and they were sensible enough not to include freakin' special effects for every damn thing one can do. x(

6. I kept my computer muted most of the time...
But every once in a while, I enjoyed it. Somehow, sometimes it made me feel more productive.

7. I have that too...
My 17 year-old brother in-law's reaction was "that's so gay." Yeah, cause why would you want your phone sounding like a phone. Fabulously gay indeed.

:sarcasm:

9. Mine's the coolest
I have LCD Soundsystem "Yeah Yeah Yeah (Crass Version)". It is kinda problematic however as when it starts playing I'm more inclined to let it play and dance around than to actually answer my phone. :D
