2. That is a great story

And I just don't get why all coming out stories aren't like that. What is it about hearing that your child is gay that makes you feel differently about them? I can't imagine loving my children any less or actually disowning them just because of who they're attracted to. All I want is for them to be happy and healthy and live a good life.

Hell, my oldest daughter is married to a Bushbot and while I don't think too highly of him, I love her as much as I ever did.

3. It's so cool that more young people can be themselves!

I've got a young relative who came out at 16 to various family members. Because he has a lot of other adversity in his life and has had to shoulder a lot of responsibilities that others his age have not, it's relieving to know that he can be comfortable with the person he is. I hope we continue see a growth in community support for GLBT youngsters!
