Has anybody seen "Torchwood" (the Dr. Who spinoff)?

Am currently downloading season one- just curious to know what I'm in for. It'll be a couple days before I can start watching. I'm glad to have found out Captain Jack managed to find his way back okay!

1. I've seen the first season

it (to me) smacked of lost potential. Some episodes were bad, many were ok, and their were a few good ones. That said, I'm such a huge Dr. Who fan that I enjoyed them all.

4. It was OK

I watched season 1 on youtube and Google video. You're right on it not quite living up to its potential yet. Hopefully, season 2 will ramp it up a bit. Still better than most of the stuff on US (non cable) TV though.

2. I saw the first two episodes.

Maybe I didn't give it a chance, but I wasn't impressed enough to watch anymore. It was nice to see that Captain Jack made it off of the satellite, though!

I could live without K-9, though.
