Ageism, so soon?
I got a letter from my union - about how it's harder to get insurance after age 35, blah blah blah, come sign up for this pre-birthday life insurance policy from (my union) with all these benefits (plus all those widdle little disclaimers in sexy microprint...)

What the hell. When I snuff it, my parents or whomever in my family will be rich.

So who wants to marry me now, before I'm 35, over the hill, and a total liability geezer? You don't want it going to the state, do you?

1. I got the same sort of letters just before I turned 40 and 45.

Seems the insurance company parasites love that little "time's running out" gambit.

What really depressed me was getting a letter telling me I'd better start planning for my funeral...on my 45th birthday. I thought of writing back and telling them that they'd better start planning their own fucking funerals if they ever contacted me again.
