1. I can't complain; I don't have any!
I have to conduct the midterm for the class I T/A for, since the prof. will be gone, but my other classes entail projects and speeches, but no papers or tests. It's a nice change, for one semester, at least! That said, I'm a bit stressed about the speech I have to give Wednesday, since I haven't written it yet.

3. I don't envy you. I hate memorizing info for tests.
I'm one of the freaks who gets really happy over essay exams.

10. I have a final on Wednesday, and I don't really know how to deal with it
That whole class has been a bit of a joke, well actually a total joke, and I think the test will be easy. The only problem is if they grade it hard. Still, the prof has told us that the final is usually the best grade in the class, so if my past grades are a guide I'll do fine. I'm still worried though because it's hard to study for this.

28. Because it wasn't about anything
The prof let it turn into a current events forum with very little academic material. It was hard to take notes and now it's kind of hard to study for the test as a result.

11. We had ours three weeks ago.
They weren't bad. One in history and one in Spanish. Lots of writing for the former, lots of memorization for the latter.

16. Well, history was essentially three hours of writing one paper.
Edited on Mon Mar-26-07 11:15 AM by deadparrot
So you had to memorize the information, but synthesis and organization was the point of the test.

But I feel your pain. I've spent the last two weeks writing and editing a fifteen-page and a ten-page paper. And I've still got another 10-15 pager to write. :banghead:

so I'm pretty much inured to the constant horror.

No, that's a lie. I'm still completely horrified.

Good luck on your exams! What kind of degree are you getting?
