Cancer strikes again.

Some friends went to Cancun,I dropped by with a bottle of wine,and a lady named Debbie was housesitting. She was a ball of energy, has three kids,is best friends with her exhusband. It was just a pleasure meeting her. Why didn't Johann and Dwan ever introduce us,blah blah blah ,lets get together etc etc.? She found a lump in her breast while housesitting. Dwan phoned us today,metastasis. Bones liver pancreas. Why did we meet this person only to lose her?

Maybe you met her just in time to be a good friend to her during this ordeal.

5. Connecting with friends who are very sick

Make a meal, go and see her, let her know you care. Most of all listen to her.

I've gone through this at least twice and came out a better person because of it.
