That's right, to have a moral compass you can believe firmly in one god, sort of believe in three, or be agnostic towards at least seven gods from the standard selection.

And to have a moral protactor, you need to firmly believe in at least two.

Moral rulers and erasers and pencils for each God you believe after that. Grand prize of a moral sliderule for those who make it to twelve or above.

Of course, anyone who is only agnostic to at six or less is evil.... and all the atheists are just muslims.

You know, some fundie nut actually thought that was true, once - it won "Post of the Year 2006" over on "fundamentalists say the darndest things".

I don't know (and I'm not sure if I really care) if he was the son of God/Man/Mary. However, he hung around with the kind of people I like to hang around with. Myself and my friends are call "Christian". We like the poor, prostitutes, widows, orphans, disabled, simply different...

But we're not to be trusted to do business with?

15. Well, my father is an ordained Assemblies of God minister.

And when someone says 'trust me, I'm a Christian." even he walks away. He prefers to show that he's a Christian through his actions, not his words.

One of my favorite scriptures is gospel of Matthew chapter 6, verses 5-6,

When thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

I don't like to announce my beliefs (unless I feel like have to defend them, as I do here, sometimes)...I'm Christian, but I don't want a lot of assumptions about what that means.

None of us will know until we die...right? I may be wrong, and if that's the case, so what? If it turns out I'm right, I've always had belief in that there are many doubters amongst us who are good and deserving folks (especially more so than our loudest "believers").

Really, it's a BIG crapshoot! Some of us who identify with a man named Jesus, ask others to not write us off as crazy. That's all...

That's what Pat Robertson told me, at least, and I trust him, because he's a good, honest Christian.
