So, what's weird about you?
Today I went to the dentist, and I thought it was relaxing. (Yes, this visit involved a LOT of drilling, not just a checkup or anything)

From what I have garnered, lots of people don't sit back and enjoy the rest; which seems a little illogical to me.

So, now that's me done, what's weird about you?

11. Everything about me is weird!
I'm addicted to broken rubber bands.

The whole living-at-home thing (even though I know I'm not the only one).

I affectionately call cats dogs or "dawgs" (I inherited that from my dad, though).

I constantly do impressions of family members' voices.

I work in an office where everyone talks to themselves as well as others.

I only eat one food item at a time when I eat.

I once almost fainted in a restaurant because I thought of cheese too much!

I'm actually on a discussion board confessing how weird I am! :silly:

32. I use them to think and to imagine things
Edited on Fri Mar-23-07 03:19 AM by Pushed To The Left
Sometimes it just helps me enjoy what I'm watching or listening to. When I was a young child, I would just "twiddle" my fingers. When I was a little older, I actually carried a belt around! I graduated to shoe strings, and finally to rubber bands, usually broken to be in the same shape as the other "twiddling" items of the past. It's an addiction, but it's relatively harmless. I only do it when I'm extremely comfortable and/or alone.

82. I've always been really weird about cheese, and I've never figured out why
I usually don't like cheese, yet I like Kraft macaroni and cheese and most pizza. It depends on the texture. However, I'm still weird about cheese even if I like it, and it's the only food that does that to me. What happened in the restaurant was that I was eating tortilla soup and it had some mozzarella cheese at the bottom and I was actually enjoying it more than I thought. For some reason, I started thinking about cheese too much and started feeling really funny. I got up to go to the restroom and everything got really blurry or faded and I really felt like I might pass out!! Thinking of toe-related violence does the same thing for some reason. Very weird!! I don't quite get it!

25. okay
DaVinci is a Canadian coroner. Of course a couple people die each episode (they are DOA I mean, it's not like CSI where you see what happens) and there are lots of other cops and investigators and stuff running around involved in their own little plots, kind of like Third Watch a bit which I really miss. Right now there is a really dirty vice cop named Brian who is just running around planting dope on commissioners and dealing/stealing it and killing people and some other cops are working with some of the prostitutes and dealers to try to get information to take him down...I was sick for a while and slept all day and stayed up nights so that's how I got hooked on the "Brian" subplot so now I have to keep watching it until it plays out.

Parco P.I. is a show about a real private investigator and it's stories from his files...just some of the wildest stuff that people get into like you would not believe. I think it's really interesting, and the gadgets they use sometimes are like "Get Smart". It comes on at a decent hour on some of the other channels but on Court tv it only comes on in the middle of the night every night.

Da Vinci's Inquest does those little interpersonal conflicts better than any show I've ever seen, it's very realistic.

And the twists and turns in these cases in Parco P.I. are just unbelievable, they defy description.

23. If there's a pile of crap anywhere - I seem to have a knack for stepping in it...
I seem to have a talent for screwing up the good things in my life. I get angry at the wrong people at the wrong time. I'm often late to my own funeral (where I buried myself by my own actions).

I think I'm a good person & I love life, family & friends dearly; but sometimes I'm such an impatient smart-ass that I often spontaneously undo much of the good that I spontaneously generate.

My sentences rhyme with the originals, with nouns and verbs in the right places, but are most definitely not what I intended to say. But if I were to try and do that consciously, I couldn't.

It actually amuses the hell out of me.

Great styling, but it has more than a few quirks. Just ask anybody who owns one. I guess it's pretty much the same for the DUers who own Alfas and Fiats. Italian styling is great, but the engineering is, well, meh.

72. I can do that too! Except my rage is much more sociopathic.
:scared:

Except I never get angry, which is my saving grace.

73. Hmmmm, pretty close to. That's definately not the ordinary amount of thumbs. May I ask -
do you have two left feet as well?

70. I put small businesses
out of business. If, on driving by a store, I blurt out "I really want to go there some time." When I actually get around to it, they've gone under.

Oh, and I'd swim much better if my toes were longer.

76. Well, I would fall asleep, except he'd think I was having an adverse reaction to the anasthetic,
and that would be too troublesome. So I just daydream quietly. :)

79. Your screenname, which I believe stands for
"oo - four - eye - cee"

Which is of course ancient french latin (as spoken in Tenochitlan) for "person with an screenname that is difficult to mistake for any other word".

77. That's not so weird...
#3 son, when he was little, had some dental problems. The boy would nap in the dentist's chair while the dentist did root canals.

No happy gas...just novocaine.

#2 enjoys visits to the dentist, too (although, to my knowledge, he never actually napped like his brother). He also enjoyed immunizations.
