1. You want to add up some numbers here?

On a personal basis, I commute the 2 miles to work everyday by foot, bicycle or public transport.
My car comes out of the garage about once a week, three times if we've got a lot of errands to run.
I can walk to a bakery (5 minutes) the video store(2 minutes), two bars and five restaurants, a pizza shop and a beer store (10 minutes) , the Reading Terminal Market(35 minutes), and 20 art galleries/performance spaces (20 minutes).
I've got neighbors and friends that I don't necessarily have to drive to get to.
My house, though older is pretty cool.
My property taxes run about 1.6K/year.
So, what makes you better?
