Classes start this Monday and...

They canceled my Government 101 class!!!!!! Not enough people signed up! And it is a core class darn it!!!!!!!:grr: :nuke: :grr: :nuke: :grr: :nuke:

btw, gov 101 is usually a non-major type class.

2. It is called a genaral core class, everyone must take it to graduate.

Most find ways to get out of it like takeing Economics. I hate economics so I was going to go with government.

btw, I go to Misssouri Southern State University.

They should plan things better or does inability to have enough open spots for enrolled students have to do with lack of funding. Do you need your core class this semester? Look into taking an intermediate class in less popular departments. I really enjoyed my Russian literature classes, for example.

8. It is a double edged sword!

If there is not enough they close the class, when all sets are filled they close the class and then there is very few classes left to help when something like this happens!

13. How many people need to sign up?

At my college it was five, but sometimes they held the class even if there were less than that. I suppose that they hire part time instructors though and need enough students to pay for the prof.
