Will Manchester United win the league?
I hope not but it looks sown up to me.

1. You seem to have soccer on the brain today.
Or should I say football?

2. I would think it's over
Nine points is just too much of a difference for Chelsea to make up.

The relegation spots seem pretty well sorted out as well unless Charlton can start getting some points, and I don't think they have enough to catch Man City, bad as they are. West Ham and Watford are done. The only real drama left is who gets into the Champions League next year.

Personally I am a Crystal Palace supporter. Call it masochism.

6. I suppose you can
Newcastle has had a spell of bad luck in recent years. They'll turn it around I'm sure. What do you think of Onyewu so far?

7. Gooch is making me hapy so far
He's showing no timidity and is very vocal and enthusiastic which Roeder has praised him for. He is quite physical, which we need. I think he'll make a very strong addition to our back when we finally sign him.

12. Good to hear it
That was the impression I had as well, but it can be hard to get a true feel when watching from Delray Beach Florida. Sometimes the Premiership news can get a little slanted where Americans are concerned.

I am hoping Onyewu will be released to the national team for a game on the 25th in Tampa, a friendly against Ecuador. It's the only national team game I am likely to see anytime soon, as they usually play them far away from the Southeast US and the Gold Cup and Concacaf competitions this summer are already settled, with no games nearby.

BTW, love the sig pic. Shearer has always impressed me; a professional in every way.

14. I think Gooch will be released for that one
he couldn't make the Mexico game as he had just gotten to Newcastle.

Yeah - you gotta love Shearer. He was offered a much better deal from other clubs but wanted to play for his boyhood team and did for 10 years and set the record for goals. It's one of the great stories in sport. Shame he couldn't win any silverware for them.

I hope Obafemi Martins will stay for a while since he got the #9 shirt - that's nearly a holy relic. :) I think he will only improve.

How long till Palace makes it up, do you think?

Well, first of all, I have to thank God, without whom I never would have noticed this exciting turn of events. Second, my mom, for teaching me to read. And finally, all of you, for sharing the last 3.5 hours with me! Thank you! Thank you! *clutches tiara*

28. I'm thinking they probably will, barring something catastrophic...
...I'm more interested to see if Everton makes it to the UEFA Cup next year. That would be quite the turn of fortunes
for Tim Howard, who I think ManU gave up on way too quickly.
