13. Exactly...
right now I'm unemployed and am living off some money that my parents gave me so it doesn't matter when I get up or what night I go to the bar, it's all good to me!

i made a wonderfully tasty dinner and had some nice wine to go with it. actually the wine was an appetizer and dessert as well as part of dinner.

my roommate and i also drank a few in honor of the verdict today

9. Well Good Fer Ya!
I'm up because I'm insane

seriously I drank a bunch of caffeinated beverage, some sludge from a convenience store "cappuccino" machine and as I was filling it up noticed it said "extra caffeine" and I guess it really did have extra in it because I'm still kind of wired.

I'm also in another town right now, Hot Springs, Arkansas

be here all week

14. whatcha doing there?
did you know that hot springs used to be a hotbed of corruption?

that is where frank nash, a man who had escaped from levenworth, was taken into custody by the fbi in 1933. this arrest (which would not stand up today) led to the kansas city massacre. pretty boy floyd and others were attempting to rescue nash, but wound up killing nash, a couple of kansas city policemen and an fbi agent were killed. although it was not a federal crime to kill an fbi agent at that time, j. edgar hoover jumped on the case and thus, the war on crime was born.

verne miller, a former sheriff-turned-yegg (bank robber) orchestrated the rescue attempt. through this case, the fbi became involved (in one way or another) in the hunt for pretty boy floyd, as well as john dillinger, bonnie and clyde, baby face nelson and the barker-karpis gang. all these people were bank robbers during a time that bank robbery was not a federal crime, yet hoover was after them all.

this has been your load of useless information for the evening

5. This was the first time I gathered the strength to do a car bomb...
usually I do Jager bombs, but I had already done a few of them and my friend convinced me to try an Irish car bomb since we are close to St. Patty's Day and I wanted to go to bed before 6am, and I gotta say they taste a lot like coffee. I might have to make them a part of my normal shot selection

7. I did many stupid things when I drank Jager in college...
More than once I've ended up on the ground and bloodied from falling down. At least with the car bomb I don't have tons of caffeine running through my veins. I somehow feel "classier" drinking Guinness,Jamesons and Bailey's yet I'm just as drunk. I'm going out again Saturday night and I feel as if I've found a new drink.

10. I was frightened for the longest time to try one...
but I just took the plunge tonight. It might help if you have a few drinks in you first but I thought they really tasted like coffee and it was unexpectedly smooth going down. I'm telling you, it might have to be my shot of choice for the foreseeable future, they were so good that they took me by surprise and I had to call my dad to pick me up from the bar because it hit me like a ton of bricks tonight! IMHO that is a ringing endorsement for a particular drink! :P

12. It was a good time
I went out with my two aunts and a close friend of the family. They all got tattoos tonight, (which further strengthens my resolve to get one for myself this summer) and we had to celebrate. I just feel bad for all of them because they actually have to work in the morning whereas I get to sleep in to the crack of noon!
