she's lived there since the early 90's

my folks moved to Ft. Collins in 1996, then to Estes in about 99. My mother died in 2005, October. So my dad stays up in Estes and we wish he'd move his ass down from there since he has his doctors and everything in Ft. Collins.

Yeah, I went through some abandonment crisis back when my folks moved because they had already bought property here in Arkansas and were going to retire from Oklahoma to Arkansas, then changed their minds and moved to Ft. Collins.

it's a gorgeous drive but i can't imagine taking that road in the winter.

45. Oh he comes down a few times a month usually.

the worst thing is that several years ago he had a light stroke that only affected his optic nerve and now he sees double. He has glasses that correct for that, but it doesn't correct the peripheral vision.

I wish he'd either move to Ft. Collins, Loveland, or near Denver. He could easily afford to do it, he stays in Estes because he thinks my mother would have wanted him to.

Yes, the winter is a rough time for driving, although they clear the roads pretty well in the canyons
