What really causes an eye to twitch?

I just went through GD and damned if my left eye didn't start twitching! Just a small twitch that goes away quickly. Nothing too scary. But GD makes it happen.

One can post a reply to what one sees as the most idiotic statement ever uttered by a human being but it's not the same as screaming "Oh my gawd you're fucking IDIOT" is it? So basically I don't bother.

I'm sorry but the right-wing emotions and trends not only annoy me but they confuse me. War good? Rich exploitation ok? Whatever...No time for key strokes in reply.

Does sleep help? Or maybe a late night vodka tonic?

1. Stress and being tired

are the two biggest culprits in blepharospasm (see, school did pay off). I had an eye twitch once that went on for days (I was super stressed and tired).
