3. Haggling over the price?

There is an old story out there about Winston Churchill talking to some woman at a ball and asking her if she'd sleep with him for a kerjillion bucks. She simpered and finally said yes. He then asked her if she'd sleep with him for a dollar. Her outraged response was, "What kind of woman do you think I am?"

"Madam, we have established what kind of woman you are. We are now haggling over the price..." was his response.

I have never known if it was a true story but I do find it kind of fitting for this thread.
