‘Britney Shears’ hits rock bottom

THE transformation of Britney Spears from music icon into pop oddity gathered pace this weekend as she emerged from a Los Angeles tattoo shop with a shaven head.

Once-loyal fans started shouting abuse as she hurriedly left the Body & Soul shop in the northern suburb of Sherman Oaks. More polite phrases included “space freak” and “have you seen your kids recently?”
