3. Well, it worked for me
Now that Gibbs is back, I don't care what chimp does, just so long as the 'Skins win more Super Bowls.

Ha Ha

Although I am hyperventilating with sheer joy at Gibbs' return.

4. Gibbs return has re-energized
my disgust and loathing of the Deadskins. It was that sanctimonious twit that made me start hating them in the first place. May they continue their recent successes.

5. Actually, aren't the Skins are mostly a Republican thing
Progressives don't have the money or connestions to get those season's tickets.

Didn't Nixon actually call a play for the Skins one game while he was President?

9. Nixon called a play for the Skins? Reagan called a play at the
1989 All-Star Game. First inning, they had the former prez in the press box. Someone hit a home run right into the blind spot in center field -- I think it was Bo Jackson, and the ball punched a hole in the blind-spot tarp. The next batter teed off too, and Reagan says, "Oh, that one's going there too." When he said that I thought, "My god, that poor old man was our prez for eight years? He's two years older than dirt and he sounds like Grandma!" He did, too. And they both have Alzheimers.

I don't know if the 'Skins (with their amazingly racist name) are a "Republican" thing; if it's because of money, then the NFL must be a "Republican" thing across the board.

11. I don't know of too many Democratic NFL teams
One team owner once described his fellow team owners as 32 billionaire Republican socialists, given their profit-sharing.

6. Does Dan Snyder realize that its 2004 now?
I honestly believe that the last time he watched football was in 1990. He signs Bruce Smith and Deion Sanders to big contracts. Brings back Joe Gibbs. Earth to Dan, its not 1990 anymore!!! If it was 1990, most of his recent moves could be considered intelligent. I love it though because like every other move he's made, it'll fail and he'll continue to look like the blubbering idiot he is. The Skins won't win again til he sells the team.

8. Gibbs is a winner in everything he does.
The switch from Pro Football to NASCAR is not a natural progression. However, within a few years, Gibbs team won 2 championships. What makes Gibbs a success is being an insane work-a-holic.

Anyone willing to consistantly work the hours Gibbs does will be successful.

7. You can't go home again...
...can't think of a coach who returned to a team he previously coached and then enjoyed success a second time around.

12. Well, that's not a good analysis, since I can't think of another case
of a coach sitting out a decade and coming back to a completely different team. As for coaches who sat out a long time and were successful when they returned, Vermeil is the obvious parallel.

And you gotta admit, no one was expecting Jim Fassel to be better with Washington than with NY.

10. No no no, It's the regime's attempt to avert attention
away from Bill Parcells in Dallas. And for that, I am happy.

:silly:
