2. I wasn't intending to watch... just hadn't turned off from 60 minutes
what a pleasant suprise. When he first went solo - he went political right off the bat. I lost track over the years - but at that time he did some pretty heavy stuff.
okay some of the early songs were a little creepy - that song and the stalker song - but I was young - didn't really get the message and loved the music. And the sexiness...
I have this picture of him I've kept for many, many years. It's Sting as a young man wearing black leather, in an interesting yoga position. I've lusted after the man since I was sixteen.
I have run into (but not approached or spoke with) John Mellancamp (who isn't as sexy - but sorta cute and very cool per his lyrics) and as cool as that was - would rather have had a chance to meet Sting. Lucky hubby.
Hubby was in line to get his coat and stood right in front of Sting so Sting would have to touch him in order to say, "Excuse me" in order to get past him. Good thinking on his feet at any rate.
