Ever notice how "Hotel California" - the album - tells a story
Starts off with the allure of California, and the vapid but fun life to be had here...coming across love, losing it - and then the desolation one feels with the chase for paradise.

Or maybe I need new music...

2. "Victim of Love" is my favorite Eagles song
They could rock when they had to...

The first three tracks have been played so to death I can't stand them (I was living in SoCal when it was released).

3. Yep
In fact, that album was the very first one I purchased in my life. I don't listen to the Eagles much anymore, they strike me as a bit too mainstream pop, but the closing song on this album, The Last Resort, remains one of my favorites.
