One Congressman's theory on global warming....
for those who may have missed this important testimony by Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA):

http://scienceblogs.com/tfk/2007/02/climate_looniness.php

In his concluding remarks, he observed that carbon dioxide levels have fluctuated throughout the Earth's history.

"We don't know what those other cycles were caused by in the past," Representative Rohrabacher speculated, "it could be dinosaur flatulence."

No one laughed. Rohrabacher was unable to bring any witnesses who could defend that claim...

god killed the dinosaurs...

edit: wait a minute, dont the fundies think dinosaurs are a fake put in the ground by satan to fool us into thinking the earth is older than it really is, according to their bible?

Seriously, we need to let the fundies know about their republican congressman straying from the one real truth.

edit again: it is accepted nowadays that cows contribute to the greenhouse effect through the release of Methane when they pass gas, so he wasnt too far out in left(right?) field.

4. I'd guess that he did some free association from cows/methane to dinos.
Anything to distract from human contribution to the problem.
