My morning coffee date has been cancelled so I'm going to... guess what?...
mess around on DU for a while. I'm having coffee by myself in my red bathrobe and wondering how everybody is this morning. Happy? Healthy? Optimistic? :hi:

1. Not in my bathrobe (still in workout attire + sweats), but drinking coffee
and perusing DU. Looks like it's gonna be a fine day.

We have beautiful weather here in Phoenix today - a high of 80 is expected. I'll have lunch on the patio sitting next to the pool, then I'll do some painting. What a great day! :)

17. I like my coffee with coffee-mate or with plain milk.
Lately I've been drinking tea on alternate mornings, just to get away from the coffee and I love the Earl Grey variety.

P.S. red is my favorite color

30. It's really good.
It's executed much like a novel and has literally dozens of characters involved, along with some humorous moments and perfect pacing -- it's basically one story over an entire season.

And I've always been a night owl. :D

How can you function at work if you stay up that late? When I am employed I have to be in bed by eleven at the latest or I will yawn and feel miserable the next day. The only way I can stay up late these days is because usually there is time for a nap the following afternoon.

That no sleep business, it's gonna kill you :P

28. God Morgon (this is all the swedish I learned while staying in Stockholm)!
We have fourteen degrees here and flurries are expected. WhatEVER. I'm going to study today so the bad weather is a blessing. The only word I've heard on the house is that the realtor is still waiting to hear from them... I received this information yesterday. I have not completely given up hope but I'm starting to. I tell myself that it's not the best possible time to sell because I'm still in school and there is only one house on the market that I'm even vaguely interested in.

My kids are in school too! Tomorrow the STBE will pull them out (only the boys - Kira refuses to go) and take them skiing. If only I had a working car I'd drive down and take you to lunch! Anyhow, enjoy your busy day. Hey, I did some pilates this morning. I'm starting slowly but I'm starting. :loveya:  :woohoo:

One of my other sisters is flying in from Oregon and we're all meeting and at yet another sister's house. Oh, while you're in RI, look up Marathon Company (jewelry). That's my BIL's company (actually it's his father's but he runs it).

Okay, now I have to do my... sob!...... ... schoolwork...

Working from home today.

Coffee ... check.
Bathrobe ... oops. **grabs bathrobe**
Healthy ... as healthy as a coffee swilling, beer quaffing 50 year old male can be.
Happy ... I would rather be in Philadelphia. Writing grungy code to kludge in a nasty modification this system. Yech
Optimistic ... hoping I can find a job as a stand up philosopher some where ... if that isn't optimistic I don't know what is.

Top of the mornin' to ya ... or afternoon as it now seems to be ...

40. Well, it's afternoon now
So my question is have you shed the robe? :-)

I'm working from home. Have been since before 6:00 this morning. Kids are home again from school, day three because of cold and snow. So, rather than go into the office, I'm working from home to referee, and keep an eye on the younger two who are running fevers (100 and 102). Their mother just left for work -- second shift at the local homeless shelter.

So, I'm happy to be home with the kids. Other than that, I'm "meh." Which these days for me is pretty good.

Hope the day's a good one for you. :-)

Well, sweetie, it's still morning here.......just barely! 11:30am...

And I'm having a lovely day........

My cleaning lady is just finishing up, and the house has greatly benefitted!

My husband and I will be going out to lunch in a bit....

And then I'll really have some serious work: ALL the laundry, and ALL the grocery shopping needs to be done!

But it's a lovely day, and I feel happy! All is good in my world at the moment.......

And I fervently wish the same for you, my dear Lisa....:loveya:
