There is a feature called the "virtual store" that is used with limited access accounts.
One of our software products is located in the Program Files directory. There is a subdirectory "Results" with an Access database to score values when complete. So for instance, I install the software and create 3 limited access accounts, A B and C.
A logs in and runs the software, then B and C each log in and run it. When each user is done, they see the results. I now log in and run a report on their results. I get nothing. The virtual store has created an individual user account for A, B and C and replicated Program Files\Results. They each have their own Access database with their results only.
We have to create a MANIFEST file and associate it with the application, so users will have "admin rights" while running and will store the results in it's proper place. Our future versions have to be built with this included.
IT people love this because they have control over what they can access and users only affect their own data if there is a problem.
