I couldn't do it because I wouldn't want to shut down the sex threads. And because I'm way too opinionated. I've heard there have been biased or cliquish mods before and I don't want to deal with that conflict.

2. to be very honest ..i have been on du for a while

and feel guilty that i have never opted to apply to be a mod.

on the other hand i dont know how fair i can be to assholes.

I voted no..simply because you speak your mind. Generally, the best mods don't have strong opinions on issues...I don't know why that is...it just is. BTW, I make a lousy one myself...did it once on another forum during the 2004 elections and wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy. It is a thankless job.

1) You're damn smart.

2) Given what I know about you personally (based on things you've posted and PMed), you wouldn't tend to fly off the handle at a post you didn't like...the way some people such as, I don't know, me would do. I do get the impression that you're a lot more level-headed than you allow us to know.
