Bring me the head of Rex Grossman!
I figured I may as well start the call to get rid of Rex. I know Chicago and Chicago fans.

They will be calling for his head tomorrow.

And Brian Griese is NOT the answer.

7. Brunell is through. As a Skins fan, trust me on this one. BUT, he could
be a stop gap kind of guy while you look for an actual QB that could be your steady player for the future. As long as you NEVER kid yourself that he's that guy.

2. Off with his head! All he did was take the Bears to the Super Bowl...
He obviously isn't worth a damn.

3. Funniest line of the night from one of the triplet boys...6 years old.
"Why do the grownups get all excited when something happens in a football game? I don't get it, it's just a game."

I was up in the kitchen with him for a moment while the rest of the grownups whooped and hollered because of something that had happened.

5. Hey Retro, not this Bears fan.
I've had my doubts about the offensive line all year long. I've always felt they were weaker than everyone thought.

Overall, the Bears didn't play well tonight at all on either side. Losing Cedric Benson in the first quarter didn't help things either.

I'm willing to give Rex one or two more seasons. After all this was the first full year as QB.

Congrats to the Colts players and organization and to Tony Dungy. The best team won, but I won't desert my beloved Bears over one loss..

8. I am not willing to give Rex one more game...
If we have to wonder whether Good Rex or Bad Rex shows up before each game, that is, by definition, a bad sign...

Lovie, time to dump 'Your QB'...he can't get the job done. Period.

10. If I was the bears, I would put a full-page spread in the NYT
Edited on Sun Feb-04-07 10:33 PM by Scooter24
offering a $10 million a year contract to whomever can come be their QB and perform better than Grossman.

Ok, so it's not technically legal, but man, maybe the Bears should just blow next season so they could get a good first-round pick. :D

I dunno what to do, but Grossman isn't cutting it.

12. he's no trent dilfer
Rex is no trent dilfer, but i can't figure out if that is good or bad, since trent won the SB.

I was expecting Griese to come in, REx seemed to let the rain bother him, they should have given Jones the ball more, if he topped 30 carries, they would have won, but he did get 100 yards.

Bring back kyle orton, haha.

13. I have a feeling if you call Domino's Delivery next month...
Edited on Sun Feb-04-07 11:49 PM by Jeff In Milwaukee
Rex just might be delivering it himself, if you know what I mean.

Guy has no business working in the NFL.

Edit: Although according to Tony Dungy, he's an agent of God's will.

14. Yep,
thats what a lot of Bears fans(the ones I know) have been saying all year....but the Bear D would pull off the wins....except for tonight of course, the D could only do so much.

17. I only watched the Bears play
3 games this year, and the SB being one of them. Rex Grossman, brings the team down, imo...he makes them worse. The D, imo is constantly pulling his feet out of the fire....

Not sure who could replace at this exact moment, but I think Rick Mirer would do better than him...at least Mirer could keep his hands on the ball, under center.
