1. I adore that shirt.
Especially Marx.

I also read it as "In honor of Stalin" and there was a copycat to that effect as well.

:D

Because I'm awesome and cool and have a small amount of disposable income and an internet connection.

Also: The copycat was summarily kicked roughly 6.83 seconds after I posted this thread. :eyes:

6. Omg, those are SWEET!
I can't quite get a handle on my Communist obsession. I think it's in large part due to just the "look" of it. The whole Cyrillic alphabet. The graphics of the propaganda. I mean, of course the theory of it all is marvellous, if not the practice. I know the evils, the horror...but I still can't help being majorly drawn to like...ALL of it.

7. I know what you mean
The actual communist governments are far removed from communist ideals.

I became obsessed with things Soviet during my stint in the US space program; they were worthy adversaries.

If you want to hear some real Russian spoken, here's a good source:

9. You both should check out the link in my sig
It's the company I work for. The graphics guy didn't even realize he had a decidedly Communist bent to his artwork until I started there and mentioned it to him. :7

10. Definitely!
BTW, I have one of those leather mate bulbs shown in the tea artwork. I got it as a gift from an Argentinian friend.
