Wanted: Man Servant
Reply to: [email protected]
Date: 2007-02-01, 11:16PM CST

Immediate Employment Opportunity for Man Servant: Duties include light housekeeping, occasional cooking and chauffeur. The typical day starts at 8:00 am. Professional career woman from Ladue needs to be driven to North County office. On occasion, you will also be required to pick up teenage daughter at 10:00 am. Although we both have a current drivers licence and very capable of driving ourselves, we've gotten use to having a personal chauffeur. My definition of a chauffeur is someone that doesn't own a car, but wants to keep mine during the day so he can attend to his own personal needs. As long as you're willing to endure the minor inconvenience of driving me to work, you're welcome to put unlimited miles on my car and to charge the gas to my account. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task. In addition to driving, you will need to constantly complain, destroy my self esteem, insult me, remind me of how ungrateful I have become and how lucky I am to have you in my life. If that fails to ruin my morning, you can list in great detail why my soul is doomed to spend eternity in hell. Please note, true Christians are encouraged to apply, but hypocrites will be given first preference.

At 10:30 am, your morning duties will be completed and you'll be released from your services until 5:00 pm. In all, the actual time spent in my service should be less than two hours per day, thereby allowing you six hours of free time to run your personal errands and/or spend the day at your leisure. Again, please feel free to put unlimited miles on my newer model Jeep Grand Cherokee. At 5:00 pm, you will need retrieve me from work and transport me back to Ladue. Based upon your current mood, you'll have the option to resume your complaints from the morning conversation or you can remain silent.

Culinary obligations are limited to one or two nights per week. Although we enjoy home cooked meals, our never ending THANK YOU's and gratitude were not enough to make our previous cook feel appreciated. We've grown accustomed to preparing our own dinner, ordering in, or open to exploring new restaurants. We'll always set an extra plate for you, but in no way are you obligated to join us at the dinner table. From our past experience, the spare bedroom is also suitable to use as a private dining room. Should you recommend a restaurant, I fully understand by accepting your invite, I'm also expected to pay the tab. At no time will you be required to engage in a meaningful conversation and there will be no expectation to interact on a personal level. You will also never be asked to divulge intimate or personal details relating to your life outside of our employment contract.

Regarding the light housekeeping duties, we do require advance notice before taking out the trash or bringing in the newspaper. Although we do our best, we've found it difficult to get a marching band and full street parade organized on such short notice.

Benefits include, free room and board, all bills paid, unlimited use of Internet, laundry facilities, use of car, private bedroom, and all expense paid vacations.

If interested, please email current photo and resume.
