Why watching movies on TBS sucks
You've probably noticed this, too. As soon as the credits for Film A start running, they shrink and mash the credits screen down into a little box filled with unreadable gibberish. In the meantime, TBS starts up a new window running Film B while the Film A credits continue to roll. Naturally, neither window takes up the whole screen.

TBS doesn't give a damn about its paying customers. All they care about is money, pure and simple.

2. Another reason: TBS has so much advertising on it that a 90 minute movie takes 4 hours to show.
I absolutely, positively HATE mashed credits on ANY channel. Stations do this, of course, to squeeze in more space for ads and promos, but it drives me up the wall. I especially hated it back in the earlier days of GSN when they stopped showing the fee plugs on very old game shows in order to run their own promos under mashed credits.

Besides, I'd like to be able to READ the credits!

4. and they cut the movie in the WORST places
for example, watching "the good, the bad, and the ugly"

there is an amazing scene near the end, when they first find the cemetary. "ugly" is the fist one there, and knows there is $100K in gold buried in one of the graves - he just doesnt know which one. Great scene while he runs in circles, a look of total desparation on his face, music playing louder (Ennio Moricone's "the love of gold"), then BAM - cut for commercial, right in the middle of it.

I'll watch the DVD instead.
