Would somebody please explain the difference between 'nuclear' and 'garden variety' ignores?

/don't have (or plan to have) anyone on ignore / block, and hopefully no one has me on ignore :)

1. It's not very interesting. GV is the standard ignore, where you can't see what

they are saying. N means that they can not reply in any threads that you start, period, or directly to posts you make in threads started by someone else. There are additional gradations, if you were to click on the ignore icon for me, you'd see a description of them ( just don't hit 'submit' unless you want to ignore me :) )

2. Garden-Variety Ignore means 'Leave me alone'

Nuclear Ignore means "Leave me alone, douchebag."
