Need an internet address for a new business. Who to go with?
Need some advice, DUers. I've had a yahoo account from day one on the internet. I've never given a moment's thought as to the whys and wherefores. I tried to get an internet address with yahoo but couldn't get my desired name. So who else should I try? I ask because my hotmail account was cancelled when I was away on a long trip, don't want that to happen again.

2. Yeah, but...
I want it to be the business name exactly, so it's easy for the customer to remember.

3. Register a domain with www.godaddy.com
They have some of the cheapest registration fees I've seen. I have mine there.

5. I think he does too...
.... but nobody takes an aol or yahoo or hotmail addy seriously.

Pick a domain, register it (I like powerpipe.com) set up a cheap hosting account ($50 a year) and have a great mail address and a web page for your business.

:)

6. That's the way I took it. GoDaddy is $8.95/yr for a dotcom address.
