It's still only Saturday morning, here in Texas, and they said this might last until Monday morning.

just south of Tulsa so we're pretty much stuck at home for the duration. Still it beats being stuck away from home so we're just rolling with it. Not much else you can do.

It is the weekend after all. My house suddenly gets smaller, messier, louder, and entirely annoying.

I technically could go out. It's slightly snowing but not badly. I wish I had a nice place to go and get some peace and quiet.

And, even though I don't have children, our TV is near the fireplace (where I am sitting at the moment) and I would give anything to just be able to turn it off! So, I know what you mean about the peace and quiet. But, I don't want to hurt my husband's feelings. After all, he might get cabin fever, even more, without the TV!

DH, the Republican, is, though. I'm originally from Texas, but I've been here for almost 17 years, so I consider myself an Arkansan now. I've even turned into an avid Razorback fan. I'm not sure who was more crushed over the loss to the Badgers, me or DH.

30. DH and I went to the Univ. of Texas where we hated OU.

Couldn't even use phrases like, "sooner or later" without fear of getting beaten up because it contained the word "sooner."

OK, maybe that was a bit of an exaggeration, but you get the point.

DH and I were thrilled when OU was beaten by Boise State.

I've had all kinds...a kleptomaniac, pyromaniac (yes, she even started a fire in our bathroom), and..once...in Southern California...a sorority girl who brought home a different guy every night of the week (I was disinfecting the toilet before each use!).
