What have you decided not to carry on a plane?
My husband would not let me purchase a bag of pastry flour in France because he was certain we'd be picked up by the DEA. On the other hand, he did allow me to buy a garden gnome which meant that I was pulled aside into a back room at the frankfurt airport while the security agents tested it for explosives. Knowing how much nitrate fertilizer floats around garden centers, that gave me a few nervous moments!

3. My self
THere's no sense in allowing yourself to be stripped of any means of self-defence and be a potential victim. I'll drive or take a boat.

8. Yorkies.
They don't travel. I'd drive across country before subjecting them to the luggage bin, and they wouldn't all fit under a seat.

9. I'm envisioning a transcontinental flight with Yorkies loose in the cabin.
It'd be better entertainment than the movies!

11. My Uzi.
I know someone who bought a genuine Swiss Army Knife in Switzerland as a souvenir, and they confiscated it. He was bummed. :(

12. Anything I know I am not going to use or wear... sounds logical enough..
but many of the strict 'what-you-can-and-cannot-carry' rules have made it easier to pack- and to pack light.
