Has anyone else made a pact with themselves to ignore the news channels for the next few days?

I just cannot stomach all the giddiness over the upcoming hanging of Saddam. Yeah, he deserves punishment for the bad things he did and he was certainly not a good person and perhaps not deserving of anyone's sympathy. But jeebus, these assholes are creaming themselves in anticipation :puke:

I just wonder if any of them will bother to connect the dots when things get even worse in Iraq than they already are.

That mess of speculation, outdated information and outright falsehood reminded me why I don't watch TV news. So I won't watch any over the next few days, because I never do. That stuff will rot your brain.
