i reaLLy hate chain-maiL petitions

i rareLy ever got them untiL joining myspace; now i get severaL everyday, and most of them are about urban Legends. a quick trip to snopes wouLd teLL anyone that, but many of them, are so absurd you shouLdn't need to verify.

seriousLy, why wouLd anyone think that an onLine petition wouLd be abLe to accompLish anything?

But my email address for myspace and a few others is a junk address that I clean out a couple times a week w/o reading anything in it.

4. i was more referring to the buLLetins

sometimes the same person, sends out the same petition a few times. maybe they'LL get that extra $1 for each 'new' petition they sign.

9. I've only received a few of those.

I always respond politely saying that I don't re-send bulletins because I don't want to participate in viral spam.

I guess I've been lucky so far. The volume has been low, and people have responded favorably to my replies.
