What's the coolest present you've gotten today?
I know it's still early, and I haven't even opened all my gifts yet (I'll do that at Sis' house in a few hours), but Hubby got us tickets to see Martin Short's show in NYC in two weeks! I'm so excited! This will be my second time visiting NYC; the first time was a couple of years ago, when we went to see "The Producers." I'm looking forward to another great time!

2. A phone call from my son
He's 19 and not real good about calling sometimes. But he called to thank me for his gifts (I got him a digital camera and accessories) and that made my day. :loveya:

Have fun in NYC - one of my favorite places to visit. :hi:

I just set it up. The sound is sweet even when it's loud. Santa either loves me or hates my neighbors.

82. a thought
I keep herbs growing in cold frames outside my house all year. There's a lot to be said for having them indoors. Sometimes I'm just too lazy to go outsize and get them. It would be so easy to snip, snip, snip, right in your own kitchen, not to mention the fact that having greenery around is therapeutic.

63. I have two favorites.
Seeing my cats all play with the multitude of toys they got and my mother got me a Pocket PC, actually two of them, just alike. She has almost a dozen of them now, all exactly the same. After playing with it and downloading a few free books and listening to some music through the headphone jack for a little while, I am beginning to see why she loves these little things so much. The reason the cats have so many toys is because I bought a pack of toys that was discounted a few months back and put it in the closet. I didn't realize there were more than a dozen toys in there. Wow.

I tried to dig up the thread...it was taking me too long so I gave up. Sorry to hear that you were offline too. Oblivian is DAMNED addicting. When 360 went tits up, (only half way through Oblivion), I went back to regular X-Box. I have tried 2 games through it and it just ain't the same. Now I am wondering: Do I pick up the new Gears of War for the 360 or should I just wait for the 360 to crap out again and send it in for the free fix...

76. I would just play the 360 until it craps out again.
And then send it in for the free repair.

Until then, enjoy Gears of War (great game, btw).

77. Yeh I'll likely do just that.
When I was calling the X-BOX tech support and getting the bad news about my 360 the techie was buisy playing HALO 3...and BRAGGING about it! (Proof that if you are a rat bastard you too can get a great job workin for microsoft's X-BOX tech support dept) I for one can't wait for that blockbuster to come out so the rest of us geeks can try it out too...on the 360 of course...jeez I can only imagine.

Sorry to hear that you won't be online for awhile...you are missed around here...glad I happened to check in before shutting down to go play Oblivion some more.

78. I'm going to play some more Oblivion too.
I just finished the Dark Brotherhood, Mages Guild, Thieves Guild, and Fighters Guild quests and now I'm working on the main quest.

You have a good week, chknltl. :hi:

That made 30+ of us! SRO, but it was great to see everybody; I'm still just basking in the energy.
