I took Nyquil the first two nights, slept like a baby. Last night, I took nothing and was up every thirty minutes coughing up a lung. I am determined to sleep tonight!

1. okay
Was it the same lung every time, or did you alternate?

:D

I hope you sleep well, and have a very Happy Christmas.

:hi:

 (but not too closely, I don't want whatever you've got :P )

2. I believe I was alternating
My son brought home a nasty cold with tons of drainage last week. He (of course) shared it with me, and it sunk into my chest, as these things tend to do with me. It's quite nasty, you definitely do not want this stuff.

I'm sure I'll sleep beautifully one it kicks in...I have an early day tomorrow...both kids set alarms to get them up for presents.

3. it's usually best
otherwise, the one lung which isn't getting out to see the larger world feels oppressed. :D

Hey, maybe you'll be fortunate enough to sleep through the alarms, and not have to get up until you've had a full eight hours.

4. Ha!
Even if I sleep through their alarms, I won't sleep through them waking me up. They know they can't open presents until we're all awake. This is followed by a pancake breakfast. so, not only do i have to be awake, I have to be awake enough to cook!

8. Nothing to give him
If I had something else, I'd have gone that route instead of that nasty cough syrup!
