Is about 2.5 ft. diameter

and once opened becomes this:

Just a bow and a card? A big Xmas bag? Set it up as a surprise?

Is for my 4-yr. old granddaughter. She loves playing soccer.

1. Hide it in a closet. Wrap up box with a slip of paper containing its location...
or, if she's up for a treasure hunt, a clue.

2. Will be giving it to her at son's place
I like the treasure hunt idea! Since she's just beginning to read, maybe make REBUS clues for her  Son's new home is 2-story, so lots of places to hide things

Actually is a great way to wrap it.

Am thinking am going to put just a bow and the Santa Card on it. I bought her a Princess Ariel Talking Kitchen that's going to be left by Santa at my house, and in the card, Santa is going to tell her she has a special present he left just for her at Grammy's house.

My son is going to kill me  G-daughter has been jonesing for months for this kitchen,

(Look, Grammy! Grammy, Grammy, Grammy! Look! It's on TV again! Oh! I want one! Oh!!! Oh!!! Grammy, LOOK!!!)

and already has the Little Tykes kitchen Santa (me) gave her three years ago. Figure I can take the old kitchen for play at my house so she can have her Princess Ariel one in her room at home.

4. Get its permission first. I tried that once without asking and got punched in the eye.
