Looks like we're finally jumpin' on the Tivo bandwagon afterall.
after all my resistance I finally broke down and decided it could be useful. Within seconds of announcing my change of heart, my techno hubby was on the computer researching all the details. LOL.

We're planning to buy it later tonite.

We'll be recording something by this time tomorrow nite, I'm sure. :D

:eyes:

1. LOL, cool
We haven't done it yet... I think it's a bad plan while I'm still in school!

Hope you have fun with it, and I hope life's treating you well, dude! :hi:

2. In all honesty, I only watch two shows regularly.
Survivor and 24. I'm sure that will change with this new addition, however. :D

Life's good here. Busy, as per usual. I'm sure you can relate. I just finished wrapping all my gifts, though, so that feels like a worthy accomplishment, this early in the game.

Maybe I'll even get cards out this year. We'll see....

:hi: Good to see ya, darlin'!

3. LOL, same here....
Daily Show, and Criss Angel  But I know I'd watch more if I weren't in school and/or could record shows to watch at other times!

Things are crazy here, you guessed it. I haven't even started Christmas shopping... that starts tomorrow, LOL. Glad you're done and all wrapped up, though! Awesome! :bounce:

4. My dear Shine!
I guarantee you will love it!

It will change how you watch TV forever!

Live stuff just doesn't cut it anymore.........this way you can skip the commercials....

We don't watch much mainstream TV either, but we still love it!

Enjoy!

7. Thanks, Peggy!
I must say, I'm a bit excited myself. I can definitely see it's value. Tech Boy has spent the morning setting it up and we're good to go for recording tonite's season finale of Survivor while we're out.

Everyone I know seems to rave about Tivo.

:hi: :loveya:

5. I love my TiVo. I can record things to watch later. And watch
more than once if there's unpacking to do.

It gets my vote for Thing of the Century.

Have fun!

6. I promise, you'll love it.
We've had ours a year now, and it's become one of those things we just don't want to be without. Learn as many of it's functions you can.:toast: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

9. Our teenage son seems to have figured it out in about 10 minutes.
I'm sure I'll be getting lessons from him. :D

Actually, it seems fairly user-friendly, which is a good thing for me.

Good to see ya, bud! :hi: Hope the holiday season is filling your heart with love and warmth. :loveya:

10. Did someone say wagon?

Oho, the Wells Fargo Wagon is a-comin' down the street
Oh please let it be for me
Oho, the Wells Fargo Wagon is a-comin' down the street
I wish, I wish I knew what it could be

I got a box of maple sugar on my birthday
In March I got a gray mackinaw
And once I got some grapefruit from Tampa
Montgomery Ward sent me a bathtub and a crosscut saw

Oho, the Wells Fargo Wagon is a-comin' now
Is it a prepaid surprise or C.O.D.?
It could be curtains or dishes or a double boiler
Or it could be, yes it could be, yes you're right, it surely could be
Somethin' special, somethin' very, very special now
Just for me

Oh, bandwagon?
Oops, never mind.

11. just wait for the first time you try to fast forward through live tv
It's bound to happen with anybody who owns a Tivo/DVR. I think that is the moment that you finally learn you are hooked forever on one of these things and could not possibly live life without one any more :P
