Why we celebrate the first day of the new year with a massive hangover is beyond me...and yet I get suckered in every time.

I got into a fight with my parents, and well, they wouldn't allow me to drive their car anywhere tonight....those bastards. Oh well. I'm going to piss away this weekend. I'm finally going back to my apartment. Thang God my winter break is coming to an end early! :)

my mom died this morning and being drunk is a safe and nice place to be. She beat me and told me I was worthless, a pain in the ass, I was too stupid to be a waitress, too stupid to learn how to cook, that it was a good thing my dad died or it would have killed him to see how I turned out, that it was my fault she had high blood pressure. Day in and day out...the days she hit me were the good days. Now she is dead and so many people are telling me to forgive her. I have said a hundred times that I understood she did her best. I have no animosity towards her. They don't seem to hear and I'm wondering...do you think that it is they who hate her?
