Have you sent /received your cards yet?

I just sent the first set out of town.

I received my first one from my new GF last week.

1. I've bought them...

but that's about it. I keep saying 'tomorrow'...but 'tomorrow' better turn into 'today' pretty damn quick or they're going to turn into New Years cards. Then Easter cards. Then, 'well at least I won't have to buy any next year' cards.

2. god, I hate writing out those cards

I haven't even started. Haven't bought them either. On the other hand, I only have 1 more present to buy, and then I'm done! :bounce:

And I can't do anything until I get some money, which won't be until later this week.

3. Got them out earlier this week

last year I never sent them and I usually don't get them out until after Christmas and well after Hanukha

5. I've received some but haven't sent any yet.

I want to tuck pictures into some of them, and the pictures will be ready for pick-up tomorrow.

6. Mine just need to be mailed

If only I felt like taking my lazy ass outside to the mailbox I would be done. It's not looking very promising today though.

8. I've gotten a few

I need to buy envelopes and more stamps and actually write them out first....

Which reminds me, I should go to the post office.

10. I sent my one card.

I got one from one of my aunts a few days ago. I guess I should send her one too.

11. This weekend I'm sending them out.

I was waiting to see if my son was getting in NYU so I could include it in my note - and he was!

12. mailed about 40, received 15 so far

I like sending/receiving them early, I get to display them longer :)

13. Working on the in-town cards

those will go over the weekend and next week.

I have a card from my California mom. There will probably be more cards today.

I like cards, those are my holiday decorations.

I have 20 some left over photo cards in case I get any new cards this year from my new friends..

15. I buy the blank ones at the art supply store

And them paint or write on them. They're made out of heavy water color paper.

My biggest problem is thinking up something new every year.

I paint them in a mass production fashion. One element at a time.

16. I send New Year's Cards.

So no, I haven't sent anything yet. I received my first one around 10 days ago I guess.

I give cards to my parents, sister, b/f but that's it.
