I have a puppy welded to my left leg.

Whenever I sit on the couch to work (or post on DU) using the PowerBook, or just to read or hang out with Mrs R, the little one stops whatever she's doing and comes up to stretch out against my leg.

I think we've bonded.

Mine's not a puppy anymore, but she's a small dog. When I sit on the couch, she schooches up to my leg and goes to sleep.

10. Have you read the book "Marley and Me"?

I'm halfway through it and its great. Talks about the intermingling of lives of a Lab and a young couple. Really great read for dog lovers. I'm seeing alot of the same behaviors and memories as with my doggie.
