1. I doubt you have anything to keep them from
sticking to the iron...if they don't stick to the iron I don't see why they could not be heated that way...how ingenious!

4. Ironing them wrapped in foil would work.

2. If it's a teflon-coated iron, I'd say yes.
Just make sure the steam setting is OFF. Should work just fine.

3. Use wax paper or aluminum foil -
no steam, should work just fine! Good luck and let us know how they turn out. Yum! :hi:

8. Do not use wax paper (wax melts at 140 degrees and will start smoking)
Iron will work fine - set the iron between cotton and linen. Any crud can be scrubbed off with steel wool when you're done.

11. That reminds me of elementary school when one of our common art
activities was to press leaves and flowers between wax paper - I'm pretty sure we used an iron to seal it up. Those quesadillas would be permanently preserved... :)

9. I don't see why not. If it doesn't work, use the exhaust manifold of your rental car.

As long as it's YOUR own personal iron, would give it a go! If it's the motel's iron..... :yoiks:

12. When I was in college, we made grilled cheese sandwiches using irons.
We'd buy cooking spray (like Pam), cheese and bread. Take that, overly restrictive dorm rules!

14. Don't know about quesadillas
But Johnny Depp cooked grilled cheese sandwiches with an iron in Benny & Joon.
