Let me chime in that I've been a jazz fan for more than 50 years, and I look to Jess to find new things, or things that I missed along the way.

On edit: Charlie Christian, who sort of invented jazz for the amplified guitar, made most of his recording with Benny Goodman. It's great stuff. Christian tragically died at the age of 23 (I think.) He was one of the greats in his short life.
