The usa, ain't a-okay
After seeing "the Big one" and reading "Nickel And dimed" and hearing stories from friends who constantly travel to the states, and watching the news, and going there myself. I don't want to sound rude, but it seems that the States are a terrible place to live. It seems as though there is an underclass of people that are totally fucked and can't do a thing about it. And the Corps have all the control, and they use it to make your lives miserable. Like you're all just a bunch of numbers. And the laws seem to have no bearing on the common man, until he breaks one, then it's unreasonable prison terms. Man o Manm I know why people say you are a great country, cause I don't know how you do it.

My country isn't perfect either, but, I just can't believe how desperate and hopeless life SEEMS down there. ANyway you are welcome to flame me.

3. Well, yes it is sadly true
no flame. There are good things but the "great country" part seems anymore to just be a story with no substance. Wish we could get back to the times we were closer to those ideals.

4. I'm quite happy here, thank you
I'm doing fine, have a great family, and look forward to every day. I'm looking at the ocean as I type, and I like the view.

Your post is the biggest piece of shit I have read in a while.

6. I'd flame your callous response, but I'm too outraged so I will!
Good points are being raised by people and all you can do is heartlessly criticize as if the US is heaven on earth? Even I, a person with a (currently) stable job, knows the US has been hijacked by evil, and conditions are only going to get worse while big business is allowed to run amok with unchecked greed. And people, American people, are suffering... with nothing hopeful looking over the horizon...

Okay, I'll admit that I'm pretty much a shitbag too for wanting to leave America, but what do you expect? Slaves wanted to leave America at the time as well because they were horridly treated. And everything's starting to look as if corporations will get their slave labor; either within America via offering only "minimum wage" jobs while carting the good stuff off to foreign countries in order to exploit their citizens (which is little better than slavery also).

When you lose your job or get into a place that you won't be enjoying or looking forward to, remember "I'm quite happy" post you've made. You'll want to remember those days because they will be lone gone.

Your post is the biggest piece of shit I have read in a while. (yet I wasn't tired enough to do a simple copy'n'paste, I typed it in by hand, letter for letter... isn't it cool that I care THAT much?)

7. Truthfully thermo
I think we've found a lurker.
Thanks for sticking up for me.
The things I said are in no way a slight against american's it is against the pricks that exploit them, for example, I mentioned I was reading Nickel and dimed. I can't believe that molly maid is allowed to not give you your first paycheck until you leave. How is that legal, in any other nation it would not be. That's YOUR money. ANyway just one examp. thanks again
