Ponder this... (Ashcroft, Rove and the pResident)
Ashcroft recused himself from the investigation into the White House leak yesterday(the only honorable thing he has done since taking office), tacitly implying that the prime suspect is KKKarl Rove. So if the pResident's number one advisor is indicted and then convicted of a felony and sentenced to real hard time, who doubts that right before he hands over the reigns to whichever democratic candidates wipes the floor with him next year, he signs a pardon exonerating KKKarl? (obviously, he would never pardon him before the election because the heat would be too much)

Then, what alternatives do we have? What recourse do we have for true justice?

2. none
none

Although if kkkarl is ever indicted for this particular act I doubt the Bushistas would have the loyalty to pardon him.

3. As a parting gift from a grateful pResident?
you don't think Bush would pardon him on the way out the door? His dad had no problem pardoning Poindexter and North from Iran Contra on his way out the door.

4. They would say something like:
Chaney told him not to do it, Shrub didn't know he did it. He would go down in flames alone. However don't look for any conclusions before November. FBI interviewed the White House staff months ago, and it has been at least a month before the Ashcroft/Rove tie was made. Only after the campaign contribution thing on Ashcroft in Missouri came out. Stay tuned, if you are not in a big hurry for action to happen.

6. Rove will be convicted
before the November elections so bush* can pardon him on the way out. If he is convicted after the election a Democrat is NOT going to pardon him. Count on it!
